In the case of that “answer” is a noun, the first one is REPLY. My dictionary says that something you say when you reply to a question that someone has asked you. And “answer” also has alternative meanings. The third meaning of “answer” in my dictionary is INVITATION/LETTER ETC. That says a written reply to a letter, invitation, advertisement etc. I also found another example---“I tried calling him all day but couldn’t get an answer.”
In the case of that “answer” is a verb, the first one is REPLY. My dictionary says that to say something to someone as a reply when they have asked you a question, made a suggestion etc. The second is this---“answer criticism/charges/accusations etc” to explain why you did something when people are criticizing you. The 5th one is this---LETTER ; to send a reply to a letter, advertisement etc. The 6th is this---DO SHT AS A REACTION ;to do something as a reaction to criticism or attack.
I think, in my case the meaning of “answer” is maybe the last one. I simply gave each answer to your each entry. I mean that I answered your entries one by one.
I think that my each answer matched your each entry. Am I right?
